Who is behind FSA?
Share was started 20 years ago by Catholic Charities of Denver, CO.
When Share grew beyond the borders of their jurisdiction, they asked Harvest Sharing, Inc. to purchase and operate the Share program.
Harvest Sharing, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) based in Colorado.
Who is Harvest Sharing Inc.
Harvest Sharing was organized 10 years ago by Bill and Diane McKnight.
Harvest Sharing has an independent Board of Directors. It is made up of business men and women who are committed to the program. None of the Board receives compensation.
Bill and Diane have eight children and only one is on the Board of Harvest Sharing. She is a successful business woman and represents the view of the single mom.
Harvest Sharing uses an independent accounting staff lead by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to manage all monies. Financials are properly recorded and audited
McKnights receive a salary of one dollar a year.
